Project: “3D Orchid Cloud”. Commissioned by “Art of Life, a collaboration between 3D Hubs and Janne Kyttanen. The installation featured 150 orchids in 3D printed pots created by the local 3D Hubs community within a faceted mirrored installation. The installation required 284 unique triangular panels requiring exact precision in order to create a perfectly seamless base. I was brought in to bring the 3D concept into a fully realized manufacturable object with the use of digital fabrication.
